With over 20 years of industry experience, Angelo is the Managing Director and Principal Technologist at Aben Technical Services in Melbourne. 

Technical Services is a leading provider of asset integrity management, NDT, mechanical testing and welding inspection services to the metal manufacturing, process plant and engineering industries. Over the past two decades, Angelo has been responsible for the company's remarkable growth, both nationally and internationally. 

Angelo has in-depth experience across general and advanced NDT methods, engineering inspection including welding supervision and inspection, casting inspection, in-service boiler and vessel inspections, tank inspections, mechanical testing, and metallurgy and metals analysis. 

Over the years, Angelo has trained countless NDT professionals, both in his own business and as a guest lecturer at RMIT University. 

Angelo holds a Diploma of  Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, and a Diploma of Metallurgical Engineering. A Certified Materials Professional, Angelo is the Chair of Standards Australia Committee MT007 for Non-destructive Testing and Inspection. He is also a Board member of the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) and the Rail Track Association Australia (RTAA).
