The Branch Council is the governing body of the specific AINDT state branch it represents.

Functioning collaboratively toward the same objectives as the Institute and responsible for the overall activities and direction of that branch, the councils are an important channel of communication between members and the Federal Council, including the Board of Directors.

The Branch Council’s purpose is to improve the member experience, create productive working relationships and provide the necessary structure under which the branch and membership operate, as supported by the AINDT head office.

It is also responsible for serving and representing AINDT members by connecting with the broader membership base to develop informed viewpoints on matters impacting members and the NDT profession.
