COVID-19 Update for all Members and Certification Holders

Category: AINDT News

Due to the current situation forced upon all AINDT Certified personnel due to COVID-19, the AINDT wishes to assure any Certificate Holders whom may be experiencing, or could be adversely affected by, COVID-19 that the NDT and CM Certification boards are taking measures to reduce the stresses and risks for those whose certification is due to expire over the next 3-6 months.

We understand that many affected Certificate Holders may not be able to attend re-certification examinations, and therefore we will be continually assessing cases on a case-by-case basis.

We ask all Certificate Holders to only contact the Federal Office should they not be able to complete re-certification activities for current certification that is due to expire before June 30 of this year.

The same consideration is to be given to applicants who currently hold trainee status which is due to expire before the 30th June, 2020.

In such cases, please complete and return each of the following forms...

Once these forms have been reviewed and processed by the AINDT, the applicant will be contacted and advised of the actions taken by the AINDT in regards to the expiry of certification.

Please note: The June examination round is also subject to restrictions placed on us by the current COVID-19 pandemic. All applicants for the June examination round will be contacted nearer the time of the examination round with an update.
