The EPA is currently consulting on a Bill to update and modernise the Radiation Protection and Control Act 1982. The Act regulates radiation use across a number of industries including industrial processing, mining and petroleum operations, medical and health care, and educational facilities. A copy of the Bill and an Explanatory Report can also be requested by calling 8204 2105.
